New year, same hustle?
Not anymore!
It's a new year, you're building a brand new business - by applying these core strategies that will keep you sticking to the plan (even on the hardest days)
But first let's take a quick peek under your hood to check out what happened in 2024...
"Your 5-minute Clarity Audit"
![CEO guide 2025.png](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7f20cc_5481c63f39ed40e9b3b70349c71c45ce~mv2.png/v1/fill/w_600,h_750,al_c,q_90,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/CEO%20guide%202025.png)
Here is how to decode how your content has been performing
on Instagram:
1. Lots of likes but not lots of sales
What it means: Your content is visually appealing. Things looks great but it isn't guiding your viewers to actually take that next step to make a purchase.
What to do: Start adding clear calls to action; explain how to buy, create posts that highlight benefits, pricing or customer reviews.
2. Lots of comments but no saves or shares
What it means: You've got engagement and relatability but your content isn't seen as valuable enough to follow you or compelling enough to desire your products.
What to do: Add more tips, insider details (become the authority), lesser known facts, detailed carousels and "how to" infographics.
3. Lots of followers but no leads (interested queries)
What it means: You're attracting and entertaining people but not the right people who want your product or service
What to do: Create more specific headlines/hooks especially in your reels or ads that reach non followers. Post about struggles or your ideal customer and how your product/service is the ultimate solution
4. Lots of leads (queries, DMs and items added to cart)
What it means: People want to buy from you but something is stopping them. Usually trust or credibility, pricing or clarity.
What to do: Use up your stories to create urgency and FOMO (fear of missing out) with posts such as "Only 2 left" or show off your customer wearing/using your products (review in the stories). Get them off the fence and in your bank details with Magical Instagram Story Sequences.🔗
So now that you have analyzed what needs to be improved, let's jump into how to get it done 👌🏽
"Your Super Strategic System"
1. Let's Get More Sales
No more scrambling last minute, no more hoping for the best. A solid sales strategy makes all the difference. Here are the key components:
💰 Set clear intentions and sales target for each month. After checking your analytics + insights to see what kind of posts you need to improve - you'll have an idea of what kind of sales target to set. No matter what's been happening, you have the power to rise above.
If at half way through the month, you are not halfway to your target - switch up the marketing activities (Eg. Cancel the ad and create some Instagram Story Sequences 🔗 OR create some HSP reels to pull in potential customers)
💰 Every single post (even if its just a simple product picture of a new arrival) must be posted with an outcome in mind. Is this post for fist time viewers (reels), to nurture followers (carousels) or to convince someone already considering buying (stories). What stage of the buying process am I triggering with this post?
💰 Automate where possible (using ManyChat or Saved replies for FAQs). Save your high converting story sequences as Highlights and repost your crucial information frequently (delivery instructions, payment instructions etc). Instead of putting "how to order" in captions, create a specific post and pin it to your page.
💰 Be consistent to increase familiarity and use Avatars (in stories) for brand recognition. Instagram has given us some amazing features to build a trust online - which leads to more sales! Create a content calendar and posting rhythm to stay consistent and reliable.
Having a sales strategy means you can make intentional moves instead of reacting to what's happening around you. You'll have a solid roadmap to guide you through the online chaos.

2. Let's Stand Out!
(beat the competition)
The noise on social media is louder than ever with millions of small businesses fighting for attention on Instagram. Here is how you can stand out and be noticed despite the crowd.
Embrace or create something that makes you different.
Eg. So many Jamaican businesses don't offer refunds or returns. It's understandable considering how this feature could be abused.
However, I have always offered refunds and returns and after over 4,000 sales I have had about 6 refund requests. Sometimes I even offer a refund to disgruntled customers and they turn it down.
But this risk free experience immediately sets my business apart from competitors and it works.
Standing out can feel risky, but the trust and sales you get in return is worth it. Plus you are no longer hustling. You're building a reputable business.
Post content that address the fears and concerns of shopping online. Show them that not only do they need your product but they can feel safe buying it from you.
Develop a signature posting style from captions to visuals to how you interact with your community of followers. Eg. Set a tone and stick to it: friendly, casual, tough love etc.
One trick that helps with sticking to a tone is to imagine your ideal customer and write your captions as if you're always speaking to that one person. This is called an Avatar or a Buyer Persona.
(Explained deeper in Audience Magnet Mastery) 🔗
When you have a plan of action to stand out, you won't get lost in the sea of competitors. Instead, you'll become the brand everyone turns to because you've shown up differently but consistently.
3.Let's stay the course
(no matter what)
The thing about success is that it requires you to push through deep feelings of failure - repeatedly, in order to get there. Plan for it!
💪🏾 Write down your 'why'✨
Hint: It has to be deeper than just money. Because lets face it- money has no value outside of what you dream about doing with it.
Think about the life you are creating for your future or the impact you would like to make. Occasionally - reconnect with your purpose.
💪🏾 Have a support system✨
Be careful who you vent to. If there's no one you trust, talk to yourself, journal out those icky feelings or dump them unto ChatGPT - it usually has excellent advice.
💪🏾 Take a break and rest✨
Resting isn't quitting. Step away and refocus on another project or revisit your goals. Recharge you mind + body.
💕 Feeling like quitting is normal (For me, that feeling usually comes up when the creative spark is out or when I'm going in a direction that doesn't make me feel inspired). It's usually a sign to pivot or dig deeper.
Peep my personal CEO shifts for 2025👇🏽
Things I'm doing in 2025 to have the best sales year ever: 🤫
👩🏾💻 Investing in a web designer.
When I started Scroll Safely, I did everythaaaang- including learning how to build a website (from templates lol).
I think my audience has now outgrown that site and also it might be turning off the high spenders by looking amateurish - so I will be investing in professional web services to optimize online sales.
🎥 Signing up for CapCut Pro! Finally!!
I have been using CapCut for some time and the FREE version is very good but:- I want to up my video editing game and also they have removed some features from Free version - so I will be upgrading with them.
📈 Expanding into male eyewear.
Customers have begged for years but I didn't think I was good at choosing styes for men so I shied away from it.
Until! I decided to get a consultant to help with purchasing and also I came up with a sales plan that will increase revenue by 40% - just by adding male eyewear to our collection.
🙅🏽♀️No more discounts:
I did a whole video explaining why I didn't run a Black Friday Discount in 2024 November🔗 - yet sales surpassed those of last year when I ran a huge discount!
Instead of discounting, I'm putting out more content that positions my product as high value and shows that my business as the best and safest option for purchasing.
(I highly recommend you do the same)
If you're not sure how - all of these techniques are laid out step by step in Cash Content Toolkit.🔗
🧠💰Spending money on my business...
Sends a signal to my subconscious that I'm standing on business and stepping into the big leagues. It's a wake up call or trigger for next level commitment.
It's a secret self hack!
Investing in yourself proves that you are all in. When you believe in your business, others will too!

Let's go deeper!
Bonus Journal Prompt 🎁
⭐️✍🏾This prompt helps you to pierce through your own subconscious stuff; your fears, limitations and distractions - to see your desired future with clarity.
It also helps you to powerfully hold on to your "WHY".
"If I woke up tomorrow with everything I wanted in my business - sales flowing, content thriving, and my goals in motion - what would I have done differently to get there?"
This question flips your perspective from 'stuck' to 'solution-focused' by getting you to envision your success backwards.
Instead of focusing on what's not working, it forces you to look at actions, shifts or decisions you would have made to create your ideal outcome.
(I'm personally using this one this year to plan from December 2025 viewpoint instead of December 2024 viewpoint)
How to Use It
🔔 Write without limits: Start by answering as if success is already yours - be as detailed as possible.
- What steps did you take?
- What habits did you change?
- What fears or excuses did you let go?
🔔 Spot The Gaps: Compare your "ideal you" to your current actions.
- Are there areas where you are playing small?
- What's one shift you can start making today?
The Real Magic of this Prompt is that is helps you to see:
🪄The real priorities you've been avoiding.
🪄The mindset blocks you need to overcome
🪄The small, powerful changes you can make right now to start moving towards the "you" you want to become.
You should already be feeling that shift from "accepting the way things are" to being empowered + capable of changing the outcome ✨
Finally....protect your energy (It's limited)
⚡️ Reflect on what Drains You vs. What Energizes You
- What activities leave you feeling exhausted or frustrated?
- What tasks make you feel productive or fulfilled?
Energy draining activities are usually dull and repetitive or uninspiring (eg, answering non urgent DMs all day)
⚡️ Identify "Fake Productive" Activities
These are things that feel busy but don't really add much measurable value to your business (like editing your website font for hours or endlessly brainstorming + saving ideas without taking any action)
Separate motion (thinking, planning, preparing) from action (executing, posting, selling)
⚡️ Use the Eisenhower Matrix:
Categorize activities into:
a. Urgent and Important: Do them now
b. Important but not Urgent: Schedule them
c. Urgent but not Important: Delegate them
d. Not Urgent, not Important: Eliminate them
😮💨I know this is A LOT! But...
You don't have to do it alone 💕
Right now, you have two choices:
😞 Keep guessing and randomly posting in frustration and wishing for better results
☺️ step boldly into your CEO era with confidence, clarity and more control over your business.
🤌🏽 CEO's don't guess, they strategize.
🤌🏽 They don't panic - they pivot.
They invest in tools that expand their impact. That is exactly what Cash Content Toolkit 🔗 does. It's the compass, fuel and engine you need to stay consistent and on point with your posts in 2025.
2025 deserves a you thats unstoppable, strategic and thriving. Your future self (and business) will thank you.
